This big ol dog was so cute just hanging over a porch like that, watching the cars go by, its head turning back and forth like a tennis spectator. I had pulled over to look something up in Google maps on my phone, and saw it from across the street.
Now, the reason I was Googling was because the bin at my regular recycling drop-off place was missing. So I found another one relatively nearby, but there was no container there either! Grr. It really boggles me how behind Chicago is on recycling. I accept that it will take time to roll out alley pickup to the whole city. But you gotta have the drop off spots available, especially on the weekend!

Woof! They allow them in restaurants here. We saw one - just one - in the Metro. Home tomorrow.
I love this pooch! Great shot. Good luck with the recycling. We have once a week pickup here. I put my stuff in the bin a day early and the garbage men took it. For the love!!!
