A closeup from yesterday morning. My neighbors got a bunch of free seedlings from a community gardening organization they're involved with (which I mentioned here). Some of which were tomatillos, which I have never grown, but I have made some rockin' tamale filling with before. I hope they turn out well, maybe we'll can some salsa!
As for the car situation, I'm going to pick it up shortly from the dealership, where the problem (and the tow!) were covered by the warranty I have 3K miles left on! Oh so pleased am I.

I like this. Very spring-like, the tender green shoots, etc. The chain link fence provides the urban context.
This is a great photo. Love how they look so fragile. The black dirt contrasts their color so nicely. Good luck with growing them because Tomatillo Salsa is very good.
