The finale of the Pitchfork fest this past weekend was The Flaming Lips. I'm definitely a fan, but have never seen them live before. Their live shows are supposed to be quite the spectacle, and last night did not disappoint. Hard to capture it in words, and the above iPhone photo doesn't quite do it justice. This video comes a little closer:

Well, the geezer said, sure is loud, even with my computer volume turned all the way down. Somehow this makes me think of hot pepper bubble tea.
