OK, it's Saturday night, but I didn't have my computer to process pictures from Critical Mass until today. Happy Friday is what we yell out along the way, as the ride is always the last Friday of every month. Even January! Which I had heard but never experienced before last night. What a blast! As usual, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were maybe a hundred or so people that came out, which is definitely still enough to form a mass. It was cold and snowy, but with clear roads, which is exactly what I wanted. Dressed basically like I do when I go snowboarding, I was quite happy and comfortable. The above picture is of course the famous Picasso in Daley Plaza, where the rides always start. I took a little vid there as we were massing up, circling the sculpture and heading out:

Bicycling in January in Chicago? This way lies madness. One a dem big snow plows is gonna scoop you up and put you in da snow dumpster. Glad you had a good time, though.
Like the video. The the beginning there's someone talking unintelligibly that sounds a lot like Barney on The Simpsons. Were you riding or walking?
Riding with my bike cam mount.
